I originally wrote about  life and moving furniture a couple of months ago; post surgery. I let it sit awhile so that I could grammar check it. I tend to write more stream of consciousness and I was worried about writing that way while on pain medications. It could set the stage for some weird postings.
We have had lots of new in our house this past week. Our oldest daughter headed back to college. Our oldest son and his wife bought their first home. Our youngest daughter started back to her homeschool classes. We got rid of a bunch of furniture that we have had for years,. I originally bought it at a garage sale when we were desperate for new to us furniture but shopping with a garage sale budget. IT was wonderful and we truly enjoyed every bit of life out of them. My post surgery body began to notice that it wasn’t as cushy as it was during the earlier years. We also had a couch from my Mom’s that she didn’t need in her apartment. So, some college age friends are borrowing the couch. It all left the house between Thursday night and Saturday morning. Wow, it all moved out pretty quickly. We were left with this lovely wide spot of nothing.
Please pay no attention to the stack of stuff on the hearth and the little table in the window. It is crochet and yarny stuff, which all needs to find a better home for awhile. The doll house is our daughter’s and needs to go to attic storage for awhile. Furniture moving is in our future and I hope that it goes well.
It did go well and we are very happy with everything.
Talk to you later,
Karen
